Unite & Revolt against the SMU Injustices !

There are grave social injustices carried out in the school right under our very nose ! We should fight against such unfair practices and demand for what rightfully belongs to us. The manner of which the school is spending our money is of the most extravagant fashion and this must be stopped immediately .

It is extremely unfair for a privilleged bunch of business scholars to be allocated a special room for their personal use. It's even more digusting that the room has other items in the room such as an airport etc. to give them hot water where the rest of the school have to , according to SA , ask whether 7/11 will let us use their hot water . This is ridiculous . What with's the special treatment these students get ? While it's perfectly understandable that they don't have to pay school fees because of their scholarship , it's CLEARLY wrong that they get such amentities at the expense of the other student population . I don't care that an silly airport costs $80 dollars and there are 8000 students . No cent of mine is going to such unworthy bastards !

There's also NO hot water available in school as due to a previous scalding accident , the school have decided to reconsider allowing hot water for the entire school population. Does this freaking mean that as the school take us univesity students as idiots that have no idea how to use hot water responsiblity and take away this basic need to insulate us from the one person's stupidity ?? This issue has been outstanding a long time now and it has yet to be solved .

The amount of expenditure in SMU is also of an digusting figure. While we understand that being in the city drives up operation costs, this does not mean that they can veil extravagance under the guise of overall heighten expenditure. Do we really freaking need LCD screens in the lift to tell me which floor i am on ? What i need is for escalators to be working properly when i need them. Do we need security guards standing at their counters observing students entering and exiting the school when the inherent security flaw lies not with the students abusing their rights , but the infrastructure of the school itself. No amount of security guards will EVER help in reducing a terrorist threat when there are unguarded multiple doors of entry and exit and especially when the security guards just sit around and drink coffee, play with their handphones and watch their table ornaments to pass the day . This has to be changed .

The welfare of the students are severly compromised . It is extremely myopic for the school to think that they can fool us by foisting expensive facilities in our face to make up for the fact that our basic welfare is not even looked into . We are shelling out our cash and yet we don't see where all these money is going to . Where is the freaking rock wall that costs $30,000 ? , Is there a need to install specially shaped tiles , does the teddy bear shapped rock climbing tile is going to make climb faster ?? Even if it does , there is NO competitive climbing sport in school ! Why is the rooftop pool not opened for use and slowlying becoming a huge mosquite larvae repository. For god's sake , one freaking official opening is enough ! Will they only rest when every one of the 6 blocks are declared open ? It is such unnecessary spending that should be curbed !

Give the money back to the students . Use the money to fund school projects , fund the CCAs properly and if the support staff of the school cannot even perform their job functions properly or even bother to use their thinking faculties , then perhaps , they should all be replaced. What use is there for a group of staff to look into community service within the school when the school is not even performing charities internally in the first place ? What good are they for when the school just seems to be advocating that everyone should be a slave to the mammon.

What is going on ? Things have to changed . Return the power back to the largest group of the stakeholders . US . The students .
Think about it .
