how school is NOT better than work

Everyone keeps telling me how school is great and i'll regret it when i start work coz work totally sucks more . I refuse to believe so , so i'm going to make a list of why school sucks more than work .

1. In school , you pay to torture yourself , at work , you get paid

2. When life gets your down , you can use your hard earned money and blow it on something nice.

3. You don't have to spend your time trying to book a room to study or camp at the library with other people . You have your own cubicle .

4. You can focus all ur hatred on your boss , which is a single person as oppose to actually feeling like burning down the entire school .

5. There might be employee of the month, but dean's list is way worse . besides , ur bonus don't get higher being on that list .

6. Project still exists across in both scenarios , but u can see ur project come into reality, which is far more satisfying than presenting in in class on week 13 and pretend ur life depends on it, because it really doesn't . Just your GPA .

7. Which brings me to next point . There is no GPA . There's annual performance review and shit like that at the work place but u just have go by the year without screwing up majorly and you won't get fired , you won't be promoted , but yah .. u still have ur job. Besides , no bell curve in the APR

8. There's no exams ! .. unless u fortunately/unfortunately get sent for training

9. There are days where you just have to look busy at work . But there are shitty days too , but see point 1 & 6 .


10. Free office stationery . Seriously . People undersestimate this but your days of cash card printing and photocopying are over .
