Music : A Playlist

You know , if one has been listening to the radio with a discerning ear , there's isn't really much good music around . I was talking to yuenkeong about this today , so since i'm bored and i'm justing sitting at my ibook doing nothing in particular , i shall help you guys compile a nice playlist . This compliation , some new songs , some old , i think , is perfect for driving or just that feet tapping goodness.

In order of play :

1. First : Lindsay Lohan
It's a great song to kick of the compliation . I know Lindsay Lohan is not technically a singer , but still , i love her more than hiliary duff . As the title suggest , first song , fun guitar riffs at the start . playful , loud . Free . Get the whole playlist going.

2. Cool : Gwen Stefani
It's picks off where Lindsay left off , with a easier , cruisy sound , slowing things down just that little bit , keeps u singing along . that's right . I know we're cool :)

3. Wordplay : Jason Mraz
Jason Mraz , how do i start , his lyrics are just crazy and very very tight, it's a really a wordplay . The happy cheerful beat makes u go on and on and the smile just creeps onto your face.

4. Don't cha wanna ride ? : Joss Stone
In the same vein as Jason Mraz , Joss Stone , brings it to the next level of enjoyment and begs you just bask in the moment of enjoying the ride . The lyrics are just so right . "A car this fine , don't pass ur way , everyday .Don't cha wanna ride ? "

5. Stitched Up : John Mayer
John Mayer slows it down just a little to give you a tiny breather , a slower beat , but don't be fooled . This song packs a punch with it's excellent arrangement and it's infectious beat will have you bobbing ur head and playing ur imaginary drums .

6. Musicology : Prince
I think this is a really cool song , not because of the lyrics , not because of Prince ( in fact i first heard it , i didn't know it was him ) , but what i love about the song is it's craaazee rhythm and blues in the funky funky beat . Very old school , very groovy . An excellent feet tapping song about what all these is about . The Music . Excellent mid-way song .

7. The Good Kind : The Wreckers
Just who are the wreckers exactly ? , It's actually michelle branch & jessica harp . As she croons , "do you want to run away together" , you know what the answer in your head is . Besides , any song with Michelle Branch is a good song , and you know it .

8. Chocolate : Snow Patrol
I know , i know , what chocolate song ? , who is snow patrol . There's no snow on the roads , one i thing i do know . This song is just like chocolate . Addictive , the consistent hits of pleasure with each mouthful . It's a lovely song .

9. When it comes : Tyler Hilton
I don't think he's related the Paris , but nonetheless , he has a raspy voice , perfect for the acoustic guitar . Just slows things down, bringing things to a close , simple and poppy and happy .

10. Have a nice day : Stereophonics
I was thinking whether to end to entire playlist with a quiet song to just relax , but hell no ! The unoffical theme song for any dive trip and gets everyone singing along . So , have a nice day people . :)


That's it . The playlist i currently recommend . If you think some of the songs suck or some songs shouldn't even be there . ( i hear protests for LL ) , then too bad coz this is my blog and here , i am king . :P
