Connectedness & Connectivity

It is strange given that all the opportunities to connect and technology facilitating connectivity we remain very much separate entities and that the lone islands are not connecting. The number of engaging and intelligent conversations stay low and once in a while , we manage to have that rare funny memorable conversation and it just seem to disappear the very next day. Such a waste . Sounds very much like drug taking , jonesing for the next high, trying to connect to nothingness . Perhaps it is true , you are indeed trying to connect to nothing in particular , a mere figment of illusion created or imagined . My point is , where has all the real people gone to ? I'm tired of machines .
