Ah-ha ! So diving in Singapore is not as bad as it turned out to be . While everything about the horrors of visbility turned out to be true.( we were lost and had to navigate around on our own .. Vis, was like 2-4ms ! ) The dive was still very enjoyable and cool . The coral life in Singapore is rather different from that of Malaysia . The fishes are largely similar, clown fish , butterfly fish , angelfish , damselfish etc. The major difference lies in the variety of tiny organisms to be observed . We must have seen countless nudibranches ( seas slugs ), of different size and colour. Crabs and hermits were also spotted . Coral life was also different with purplish sea sponge . Anyway , i think it's no secret that absolutely detest smokers . I sincerely hope all of them wake up tmrw and get cancer. But what's even more disgusting is that smokers have no decency to mask their cigarette breath . That's like the ultimate yeek . One more thing that i absolutely cannot stand is the mindless policies and stupid people & WASTING TIME . The following story , is the combination of all the annoying things . U have been warned .

So , after the dive on the way back home , i decided to drop by the library to borrow some books , since i have relatively more time on my hands nowadays at work . So , i picked out some pretty cool books . Books which i wanted to buy at kinokuniya, and i don't mean just one , i actually picked out 4 very gd books and library goers will know how hard it is because all the good books are always taken . And this was after diving mind u , i was quite tired and all , ready to just fall asleep in bed when i reach home .

So , with my 4 exciting books , anticipating the fun time i will have reading , i approached the counter . As if u still don't know , the library scanner cannot detect the B11 identification card and i went to counter straight for librarian to scan my book manually . The counter btw , is now know as concierge, having connotations of gd service . Which i assure u , reality differs from it . After a day out in the sea with fresh air , the last thing u expect is the horrib whiff of cigarette stench coming from someone's mouth ..

"i'm sorry , we don't have such services here , u have to apply for a membership card "
"HUh ?? .. a membership card ? , u mean can't scan my books for me , since my id is not working "
"No , u'll have to go to the automated station which will create a membership card for u and pay $5 "
" U mean i have to pay ???!?! , why do i have to pay when i borrow with my ic ? , can't u just scan the details manually ? "
" yes , anyway , in the future , everything will be automated , u might as well apply one now "

By now , i'm ready to faint from his stench anytime and the stupid policy was getting to me ... i made up some excuse to leave before i die .

I explored the automated machine that will give my membership immediately upon paying $5, which i'm very reluctant to pay . Apparently , i have to insert my id card or some form of identification so that they can capture my IC number . Which brings me back to square one , the BLOODY MACHINE CANNOT READ MY CARD !! . Suddenly , it all became clear . WHY THE HELL MUST I INSERT MY IC AND PAY $5 TO MAKE A MEMBERSHIP CARD WHEN I CAN BORROW MY BOOKS WITH MY IC ???? " What kind of stupid policy is that ??? Needless to say, i left without borrowing any books , resulting in a MAJOR WASTE OF TIME spent at the library . I went home , fuming , tired and deeply disturbed , further provoked by the stupid auntie that kept squeezing to on the bus faster than me and kept shoving her stupid plastic bags to my back .

The ultimate irony lies in the high deluded concierge staff telling me that everything will be automated . Like what the fuck . Don't machines fail ? , if you don't have a counter for the public to check out their books , how are they going to borrow books through the spoilt machines ???? . If everything will be automated , why don't u convert everything into E-books and i'll just bring my thumbdrive and download PDF. files in the future ?? Fucking nonsense . If everything is automated , then , the entire concierge staff can be replaced by a robot . At least a robot does not have cigarette laced breath and i bet it's definitely more productive than those stupid staff sitting there doing nothing but converting oxygen into carbon dioxide . And probably a better concept of service quality . Tres annoying .

Arghh !! .. DIE DIE DIE , hope u get cancer and die . Either that or get replaced by a machine . Which ever comes first . and to that stupid auntie , Stop pushing lah , the bus will leave without u lah , it is an all encompassing bus and it won't discriminate against ugly ppl by disallowing them to board .
