Orientation & Other things

Everyone seems to be rather busy nowadays with whatever they have to do . Like the never ending orientation , work , rehearsals , CCA shit and god knows what . Need i remind these people that school is starting soon and if u won't get much time to chill after school starts .

Anywayy .. i kinda miss orientation . Not the stupid circle camp orientation , but the JC orientation , where people cheered like mad because they enjoyed doing so and not because they have to please their GL or the gamemasters at the various stations . I also miss how orientation was just to purely have fun and make new friends and not go through extremely long debriefs on how there wasn't enough team building spirit within the group and talk about the activitiy in detail as if it depended on life and death . I seriously don't get it . I mean , come'on , people need to realise , the older they grow , perhaps , the more fun they should be having and not the other way round .

See my theory is , when you're young , fun is just .. silly fun and it'll , in the words of ur parents, it'll probably lead you to the dark side . So , fun is kept the minimum and they throw all these big theories at you and ask you to grow up . Finally when you grow up and can understand the distinction between work and play , you'd definitely chose to play because you finally understand how work truly truly is a bitch . So why not just give them fun ? But no , they have to impose all these talking sessions so that everyone can discuss the important of teamwork and leadership .

I mean like , duh . We know all these already . Give me fun laced with alcohol . That's an orientation i'll go for . And maybe , when everyone is high enough , they'll cheer whatever you want them to cheer .
