Home Song Stories

The show looked so promising . But , the plot turned out to be SO predictable . It's truly the kind of film that tries to act cheem , but falls flat . Home Song Stories , a film about an immigrant family in Australia, failed to elicit any sympathy from me for the characters and i was just glad that the show was finally over . Joan Chen's acting was probably the only highlight of the show , but her role of the sucidal mother made me think "can u just die already?" . The little boy's acting was OC Ryan-esque . meaning , same face , all emotion . Arrgh . pfft . to think i was so looking forward to be entertained . Hopefully hairspray tmrw will be more fun .
