How i met your mother

I love love love this show . Neil Patrick Harris' character in the sitcom is just legend .... wait for it ... dary ! ... So funny. The writers of the show have done a brilliant job in creating this character, spewing out new and interesting catch phrases and taking spin on old ones. My personal favourites include :

- Suit up !
To wear a suit

- You've been lawyered !
To weasel the truth out of someone through a series of questions / cross examination

- I'm going to have to lemon law you
A form of rejection based on judgements formed in the first 3 minutes

- Phone Five
High five via the phone

Barney cracks me up everytime .


On another related note ( i know .. for once .. related ! ) ... i was watching the US Open , i picked up this phrase . "BAGEL-ED" . Bagel , meaning the tradition bread that has a whole in the middle and commonly eaten in the OC . Much like a donut , but cooler and without the queues . So .. the definition , i've deduced , is as such .

Bagel-ed : To score a zero

Usage . She bagel-ed that game .
I bagel-ed on my calculus test .

Cool eh ? .. Way better than fetch .
